Stain Removal Guide
General
1. For wet stains, gently dab the stain with a clean paper towel and ensure that the surface underneath is protected. For dry stains, gently brush the stain to remove any excess substance. Do not use stain remover.
2. Turn the garment inside out and run cold water through the back of the stain. Do not run water through the front to prevent the stain from setting deeper into the fabric.
3. Turn the garment right side out and gently blot the stain with a clean paper towel.
4. Apply a mixture of equal parts laundry detergent and warm water to the stain, using circular motions from the outer edges towards the centre.
5. Blot the stain again.
6. Rinse and repeat.
7. Wash the garment according to the recommendations on the care label.
Wax & Chewing Gum
1. Allow the garment to dry or put it in the freezer to make it easier to scrape off the wax or chewing gum with a spoon.
2. For wax, place paper towels on both sides of the fabric and use a low-temperature iron, without steam, to lift the wax from the fabric. Do not leave your iron in one spot for too long.
3. Proceed with the general Stain Removal Guide.
